Cleaning of the filtration system is done by back washing the filters in opposite direction by spraying with clean water on the filters and thus remove the clogged materials from the filters, and this is a basic procedure to maintain the pool.
To prevent the formation of algae and develop yellow or brown stains on the side walls and floors of your pool, you are to brush and scrub the pool, which means changing the water and cleaning the filtration system regularly is not enough.
